Today is Bryan's birthday.
I started a tradition a couple of years ago of making homemade cards for him. Yesterday, while searching for inspiration, I came across this tutorial at How About Orange and made this:
I may have made him open it last night because I was too excited to wait until today. He was sweet enough to oblige. We will be celebrating his birthday all weekend long by working on a house project (do I know how to show a man a good time or what?). Unfortunately, it's a task we've been dreading and therefor have put off for almost two years (we discussed it before hand and he's determined to do it this weekend even though it's his birthday).
We plan to have this project completed by Sunday at 10pm so we can fully enjoy the season four premier of Mad Men (are you as addicted as we are?). If you like to watch Mad Men with a cocktail in hand, well then this giveaway is for you.
We found a set of vintage, mid century modern low ball cocktail glasses in the basement of our house when we moved in. Bryan broke up the set and gave some to a friend, leaving us with an odd set. In order to make our set even, I am giving away one low ball cocktail glass.
This is vintage, Diamond Point by Federal Glass (info found here). This lonely glass will be the great starting point for a collection...or maybe it's the one you need one to complete your set.
To enter to win, simply comment on this post. Tell me how much you love Mad Men, mid-century modern bar ware or the weekends. Or you can wish Bryan a happy birthday.
I have to limit this giveaway to US residents in the contiguous united states only. One entry per person. The winner will be announced Monday morning.
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
