Happy Fall Ya'll

I'm so happy Fall is here! I can't believe I'm going to say this (because I do love the heat) but summer has over stayed her welcome. I get nostalgic this time of year. My birthday, our dog's birthday, our anniversary, my mom's birthday, two nieces and one nephew's birthday all fall within this season so we're usually in full blown celebration mode. Plus we're gearing up for a vacation (a short but sweet trip to Savannah). I welcome Fall with open arms!

What do these pictures have to do with Fall?  Nothing, really other than the fact that I took them today on the first day of Fall.  I was cleaning and putting away our hats and threw them on our lamps for fun.  Snapped the picture and then put them away in our closets.  Plus, I can't resist taking a picture of Bindi.  It's impossible, if I have the camera out, I have to take a picture.  It's a sickness, I'm sure.

I also got around to adding a little decor to our hallway.  Our hallway is small and squarish with seven doors.  Yes, you read that right, seven doors--they include: the living room, three bedrooms, a bathroom, our attic and a linen closet.  Insane, I know!  As you can imagine it's not an easy space to decorate.  Last week, I was putting furniture back in our office and decided to try this little cabinet out in the hallway.  It's a bathroom cabinet purchased for an apartment I lived in six years ago.  We had it in our office holding random office stuff but it was mostly just taking up space.  So, here it is sitting next to the bathroom door holding toilet paper and magazines.  It also feels a little "fallish" to me so I thought I'd share it with this post.
