Well, this could easily be a Fall/Winter mantle and while it's similar to my
Christmas mantle I showed you, it's different enough for me!
Here is a view zoomed out a bit so you can see what our mantle looks like (but not zoomed out further because all those white vases are off to the side and yes, they are put away now :) ). You may remember my
plywood solution to the large space we have above the mantle. I still love it, by the way. Although, I only used the other side during the summer and am planning on painting it this winter.
As you all probably can guess, this was a DIY project. Various bottles (included in the bunch, 2 wine and one of each, apple juice, spaghetti sauce, worcestershire, jam, olive oil, a spice jar and a bud vase) spray painted with gray primer and wrapped with jute. I used hot glue to affix jute to the jar at the beginning and end of the run and they are all holding up well. Couldn't be easier!
So creative and so pretty! I can see this in a magazine! Have a fantastic Thanksgiving.

Perfect! You didn't need to add anything else. It almost looks like a painting!!
ReplyDeleteSo elegant. I love it. And, I love that you just painted jars. So clever.
ReplyDeleteYou have the gift of subtlety with decor. So classy and not overdone. I'm an over-doer. ;)
Your mantle looks fabulous, I really love what you have done and I love that you made it yourself. Well done! xx
ReplyDeleteYowza! This looks amazing! I love a little upcycling. And since I don't drink wine, I'm thinking I could steal a couple of empty bottles tonight. :)
ReplyDeleteThis would make a beautiful center piece for my dinning table.
just wanted to tell you I love your blog and passed on the stylish blogger award to you! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour amazing styling skills kill me every time!
