Run My Renovation: The Final Chapter

I know, I know!  You all thought I had already milked it for what it's worth but I have one last post to share about our amazing attic renovation and then I'm done.  Promise!

The pictures and video are now on-line for your viewing pleasure!  The following pictures are courtesy of the DIY Network.

As for a link to the video, I can't directly link to it.  But if you follow this link: Run My Renovation Full Episodes and scroll all the way to the right, you'll see ours.  It's called "Amazing Attic Conversion".  And just a warning, the first video in the queue starts automatically so if you're anything like me, make sure your volume is turned down so you don't jump out of your seat when it starts.

And if you're new to my blog and have no earthly idea what I'm talking about, following this link to get caught up on all my posts about our attic renovation courtesy of the DIY Channel:  The Brick Cottage Run My Renovation.

  4. Holy crap, Karrie! So, did they do anything with the height of the attic, or did you have sufficient height and they just had to add the short walls? This looks so stunning, even though you didn't care for all the choices they made I think it turned out perfect!!!

  5. Thanks, Sara! We really love how it all came together. We had high ceilings up there prior to the reno (10 feet at the peak). It was lowered to 8 feet and 4 foot knee walls were added so the space could be insulated properly but it still feels nice and roomy to us. I'm 5'9" and Bryan's 6'2", so we're pleasantly surprised!

  6. I could look at pictures of this reno every day and not get tired of it, I think. Gorgeous! Are you and Bryan coming around to some of the decisions you didn't like, or are you still planning to change them?
