Snow Day!

Aww, yeah!  We had a couple of inches dumped on us last night.  The city is closed.  Bryan is working from home.  My doctor's appointment was canceled (woo-hoo! I was not looking forward to that).  And I'm about to cook some chili in the crock pot.

Looks like I won't be going anywhere today!
 Some colorful neighbors
And now let's bring on the PUPSTER!
She decided to dive head first into a pile of snow while walking.
When we got back home, she took it upon herself to create a masterpiece with our yard.

Taking a moment to admire her handiwork!
 Yard officially Bindi-fied!

And yes, it is as much fun as you'd imagine getting off the ice balls that her fur picked up.  Ultimately, I had to stick her in the bath tub. And she is now exhausted and napping hard.  And I'm going to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate.

  1. That is one snow loving puppy dog! She is so cute playing in the snow! So funny...in Chicago a couple inches is just a dusting! Enjoy your cozy day. It's 13 degees today so we are staying in being cozy too.

  2. Yeah, it doesn't take much winter weather to shut down southern cities. In fact, I think most of my "snow days" growing up was the result of rain followed by freezing temps. We have too many hilly side streets and country roads and only the main roads get salted.

  4. I was gonna ask whereabouts you live- here in Salt Lake, that much snow wouldn't cause anyone to blink an eye! But where I'm from in OK, that much snow would indeed shut down the city.

Bindi. SO. CUTE. Blanche loves the snow, too.

  6. Oh my goodness! What I would give be Bindi for just one snow day. Everything looks beautiful!

I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I've never seen *real* snow in person. I know. I'm a bad Californian. ;)

  9. Hooray! I love watching pups in the snow! An old neighbor's lab did the snow plow thing with her nose. It was hilarious!

  10. Oh my gosh, these pictures of your dog just made my day. They are priceless. The pugs want nothing to do with the snow, particularly Franco. I wish they were as entertaining as your little one. The first picture is my favorite.
