17 1/2 week bump (still working on my "mommy pose"--my ginormous hands over power the bump if I'm not careful)
I'm currently 18 weeks or in my 5th month (for those of you who don't speak weeks).
Here's a better shot of the bump.
Big sister to be!
We sent this picture to our parents sharing the news (in a Valentine's Day card from their grandchild to be). I was 12 weeks but had no bump. We took several pictures and the best one happened to be with my eyes closed (ha!) so we used it.
I had an easy first trimester with no morning sickness or nausea. I was tired (especially during the busy holiday season) but regained my energy once I hit the second trimester. Two pregnancy cliches that hit me early on however was the constant need to go to the bathroom (seriously. that one can be annoying!) and back ache. I always thought those happened much later but they happened almost as soon as I found out I was pregnant. The second trimester is easy sailing so far (just like the pregnancy books claimed) and I'm enjoying being pregnant while I can. Being due in August means that I'll go through the heat of summer at my largest so I better enjoy it now before I'm miserable later!
Oh, and we find our the sex of the baby in 13 days. Not that anybody is counting.

Congrats!
